ADOOR is in KERALAM. Adoor City is 91
kilometres North of Thiruvananthapuram and 140 kilometres South of
Ernakulam/Kochi. It is presently a Taluk in Pathanamthitta District.
A few years before, Adoor and Pathanamthitta were in Kollam District.
Adoor Taluk consists of the following villages: Adoor, Angadical,
Enadimangalam, Enathu, Erath, Ezhamkulam, Kadampand, Kalanjoor, Kodumon,
Koodal, Kurampala, Pallical, Peringanad, Pandalam, Thekkekkara, and
Thonnalloor. Adoor and Thiruvalla are the 2 Revenue Divisions in the
District. Adoor names both in the Parliament and Assembly Constituencies
as per the present Political/Electoral System in the Country.
